The Finest Hours – The epic true life tale told in typical Disney style. Chris Pine leads the cast as a Coast Guard office whose crew makes a daring rescue attempt off the coast of Cape Cod after a pair of oil tankers are destroyed during a blizzard in 1952. Eric Bana and Casey Affleck co-star, and we’ve got it on Blu-ray too.

The Last Panthers – An insurance adjuster, a former MI-6 officer, a French-Algerian cop, and a Serbian soldier-turned-thief all chase the same high profile diamond thieves across Europe after their latest heist gets a young girl killed. This is a 6-episode miniseries from SkyTV in Britain.

The Life of Verdi – From 1982, this 7 episode/11 hour PBS miniseries recounts the life and times of Giuseppe Verdi. Filmed on location in London, Paris and Italy, the drama chronicles the highs of Verdi’s professional accomplishments as a beloved opera composer, and the lows of his tragic personal life.
