Here is the listing of our latest new movies.

Lincoln: As the Civil War continues to rage, America’s president struggles with continuing carnage on the battlefield and as he fights with many inside his own cabinet on the decision to emancipate the slaves. Also on Blu-ray.

Parental Guidance: Artie and Diane agree to look after their three grandkids when their type-A helicopter parents need to leave town for work. Problems arise when the kids’ 21st-century behavior collides with Artie and Diane’s old-school methods. Also on Blu-ray.

Easy Money: A three-tiered story centered around drugs and organized crime

Alois Nebel: This dark-hearted noir-inspired Czech animated drama traces the haunted memories & mysterious visions of a troubled train dispatcher through the shifting cultural & political landscape in the waning days of the Cold War.

The Athlete: Running the streets of Rome in 1960, an unknown, barefooted Ethiopian man stunned the world by winning Olympic gold in the marathon…

Borgen: S1 A political drama about a prime minister’s rise to power, and how power changes a prime minister.

Dead in France: A socially-challenged hitman’s French retirement is ruined by the dodgy Brits on the Cote d’Azur.

End of Time: Explores our perception of time.

In Another Country: A triptych of overlapping stories about three different French women (all played by Isabelle Huppert) who visit a small Korean resort town and encounter a flirtatious director, a love struck lifeguard and far too much soju.

Monsieur Verdoux: Criterion. Charlie Chaplin plays shockingly against type in his most controversial film, a brilliant and bleak black comedy about money, marriage, and murder.

Killing Them Softly: Jackie Cogan is an enforcer hired to restore order after three dumb guys rob a Mob protected card game, causing the local criminal economy to collapse. Also on Blu-ray.

A Man Escaped: Criterion. Robert Bresson’s spare and suspenseful jailbreak film, digitally restored!

A Royal Affair: A young queen, who is married to an insane king, falls secretly in love with her physician – and together they start a revolution that changes a nation forever. Also on Blu-ray.

Tokyo Noir: A Japanese anthology of erotic S&M stories.

Veep: S1 Centers on former Senator Selina Meyer who finds being Vice President of the United States is nothing like she expected and everything everyone ever warned about.

Womb: Bond girl Eva Green and current star of Doctor Who, Matt Smith star in this European sci-fi about a woman who’s all-consuming love forces her to bear the clone of her dead beloved, raising him from infancy to manhood.

Before the Rain: Criterion. Macedonian drama crosscuts the stories of a monk, a British photo agent and a war photographer, portraying the simmering Balkan ethnic hatred.

Masculin Feminin: Criterion. Paul is young, just demobbed from national service in the French Army, and dishillusioned with civilian life. As his girlfriend builds herself a career as a pop singer, Paul becomes more isolated from his friends and peers (‘the children of Marx and Coca Cola’, as the credits announce) and their social and emotional politics
