Bonekickers: BBC series that’s “CSI meets Indiana Jones” about a team of archaeologists investigating modern & ancient mysteries. From the creators of the BBC series Life on Mars.
Bright Star: Directed by Jane Campion (Piano). The drama based on the three-year romance between 19th century poet John Keats and Fanny Brawne, which was cut short by Keats’ untimely death at age 25.
Cairo Time: Vaguely dissatisfied with life, a woman travels to Egypt to meet her husband. However while waiting for him to arrive, she has a brief, unexpected love affair with an old friend.
Cracker: BBC series starring Robbie Coltrane. An abrasively eccentric forensic psychologist aids in the solving of difficult police cases.
The Escapist: Complex & gripping British drama about a man who attempts to escape prison so that he can see his estranged, dying daughter. Seu Jorge, Brian Cox, Joseph Fiennes, Rupert Wyatt
Joueuse: AKA Queen to Play. Sort of a French take on Searching for Bobby Fischer. Middle-aged hotel maid reinvents herself when she develops an obsession for chess. Sandrine Bonnaire, Kevin Kline
Michael Jackson: This is it A compilation of interviews, rehearsals and backstage footage of Michael Jackson as he prepared for his series of sold-out shows in London.
Saxondale: BBC. Steve Coogan stars as Tommy Saxondale, the world-travelled ex-roadie with anger-management issues and a pest control business in Stevenage.
Soul Power: A documentary on the legendary soul music concert staged in Kinshasa, Zaire in 1974.
Wild Ocean: IMAX spectacle filmed off the Wild Coast of South Africa that sees the migration of billions of creatures every year.
The Girl on the Train: Based on a true event, a young woman invents a story about being attacked on a train by black and Arab youths who mistook her for a Jew and the subsequent media sensation it creates. Michel Blanc, Catherine Deneuve, André Téchiné
Headless Woman: Middle class woman accidentally drives over something, what exactly we’re not sure, but the woman increasingly becomes obsessed with the possibility that she may have killed someone… Lucrecia Martel (Holy Girl).
Hogfather: It’s Hogswatch (equivalent to Christmas) on the Discworld and the Hogfather has gone missing, requiring Death to take his place while his granddaughter Susan endeavors to find out what has happened.
Love Songs: French musical-romance about a young couple who decide to reignite their relationship by inviting another woman into their bed.
MI-5: S2 BBC The missions of MI-5, the UK’s intelligence organization.
Pandorum: A pair of crew members aboard a spaceship wake up with no knowledge of their mission or their identities.
Paper Heart: Charlyne Yi embarks on a quest across America to make a documentary about the one subject she doesn’t fully understand: Love.
Strange Wilderness: With the ratings dropping for a wilderness-themed TV show, two animal fans go to the Andes in search of Bigfoot.
Babylon 5: Complete Series BBC. A space station in neutral territory is the focus of a unique five year saga.
