Beyond a Reasonable Doubt: Starring Michael Douglas. Remake of the 1956 film noir film “Beyond a Reasonable Doubt” in which a writer’s plan to expose a corrupt district attorney takes an unexpected turn.

District 9: An extraterrestrial race forced to live in slum-like conditions on Earth suddenly finds a kindred spirit in a government agent who is exposed to their biotechnology. Also on Blu-Ray.

It Might Get Loud: A documentary on the electric guitar from the point of view of three significant rock musicians: the Edge, Jimmy Page and Jack White.

Other Man: A thriller about a cuckolded husband’s obsession with his wife’s lover. Laura Linney, Antonio Banderas, Liam Neeson.

Christmas Tale: Tragic French comedy about a holiday reunion of a dysfunctional & estranged family brought together in order to find a bone marrow donor for the youngest member. Catherine Deneuve, Mathieu Amalric

Drinking with Ian: S1 Drunken bon vivant & raconteur Ian Rans hosts this odd little Minneapolis based public access variety show in his local bar. Not sure why we got this one. 🙂

Shuttle: A surprisingly well put together and much lauded thriller about a couple girls on a bus ride to hell. Seriously, this one will beat your expectations.

Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day: Ricky, Julian, Bubbles, Sam Losco, Cyrus, and Ray all plot revenge against Jim Lahey upon their release from prison.

Tudors: S3 A dramatic series about the reign and marriages of King Henry VIII.

Girl, Interrupted: Based on writer Susanna Kaysen’s account of her 18-month stay at a mental hospital in the 1960s.
